EVS selected for European Championships 2011

For the third year running the English Vaulting Squad are proud to be representing Great Britain. They are selected as the Senior Team for the 2011 European Championships to be held at Le Mans, France.
	At the final Selection Trial of the year, held at SNEC, Oatridge College, EVS performed an improved set of compulsories and put together a hasty freestyle due to a couple of niggling injuries we have sustained this year. It was enough to secure selection, Go for Gold performing to her usual high standard for the team. The team of Emma Runge, Steph Hunter, Sara Shortland, Lydia Barham, Paige Brown, Ellie Cundy and William Jenkins will now be training even harder to gain the highest place possible at the Championships.
The added bonus for the squad is that George Cox, our Junior Individual was also selected to represent GB on Solitaire Legacy - Willium to all of us ! This will make it an extra special Europeans and give the Team someone else to shout for !
The full British Squad will consist of EVS - Senior Team Joanne Eccles, Hannah Eccles and Lucy Phillips - Senior Individuals SEVT - Junior Team Andrew McLachlan and George Cox - Junior Male Stephanie Hunter, Louise Sinclair and Stacey Macpherson - Junior Female Hannah and Joanne Eccles - Pairs An extremely strong squad and a lot of support.
