New Sensations Roadshow with Tanya Larrigan

We were due to appear at Tanya's Roadshow early in May, we were invited to put on a display and duly went along to Kent without our horse!

We got there and gave a lecture demo on trying a new horse for Vaulting with the able assistance of Jack, Tanya's star horse, a 16hand Lusitano Gelding who has never seen a roller or back pad before.

Jack was an angel, fortunately Tanya's training methods are very similar to ours and Jack was very responsive. He took the vaulters running down the line, all mounts, compulsories and freestyle moves in walk. Sarah Watson did some canter work on him and we finished with Lucy Phillips' freestyle in walk including her somersault off. He was super.

The day was a training day for different disciplines. She had Dressage, the Mini Marvels, Voice training and Western Riding, along with a display by a dog trainer. I think everyone had a good time and I know we wished we'd brought Jack home with us.
