Open Day, Moreton Morrell

We were asked to go along and do a demonstration at Moreton Morrell College's Open Day on Saturday the 21st of May. The College has been long time supporters of Vaulting and have been really helpful to us over the years so we happily went along.

Wendy ( again ! ) and her trusty lorry took B and T along with the team and Ararat who was over training for Austria. David Owen met us there and he warmed Tiny up while the Team, Julie and Bowler did Fireworks and Compulsories and Wendy gave a brief description of Vaulting.
Julie then handed Bowler to David and lunged Tiny and Ararat through his freestyle and technical test, the audience were suitably impressed.
The team finished with a pretty much foot perfect freestyle and then the vaulters went into the crowd and grabbed two unsuspecting kids and we gave them a go !

The audience seemed pleased and the College very grateful and we all had a very important practice before Austria.

Thanks yet again this year to Wendy for her help and expert commentary, David for help with both Tiny and Bowler, Liz Reid and Bill Phillips for support and the College for their help over the years.
