I am 26 years old from Leamington Spa, Warwickshire and have been vaulting since I first saw a demonstration when I was 9 and am the last remaining, original member of the Warwick group. I am a member of the English Vaulting Squad and a BEV Level 3 coach. I competed in Individual competition, up to 2005 where team took proirity with the removal of the age limit. I have been a British squad member every year since 1998, I was 2001 BEV ranking system winner, normally in GB top 5 and competed in over 20 internationals over the years, which includes Saumur- France (9 times), Switzerland, Sweden, Germany, Austria, Spain, Slovakia and Italy. I have represented Great Britain at the European Championships in Slovakia-1999, the World Equestrian Games in Spain-2002 and was reserve in 2001 and 2003.
I have graduated from two Universities; Leeds University with an Honours Degree in Physiology BSc in July 2003 and Coventry University in 2006 with an honours in Physiotherapy. Now a fully qualified and licensed Physiotherapist.
I am also a member of British Eventing competing at Advanced and CCI*** level including Bramham 2002 following which I was longlisted for the Young Riders Championships in Austria 2002 and Blenhiem 2003 where I was second highest under 25 rider. In 2004/05 I had another horse to event as well, 'Bascote Bruce' owned by Jill Bleloch and James Haitt a 17.1hh Irish X thoroughbred now with 61 points. We started at novice and then moved up to intermediate, cluminating in successfully completing Hartpury CCI** 3 day and finishing 4th in the intermdiate championships at Henbury Hall.
I am currently live bck at home for the short term and am only able to keep everything going in these crazy sports and my continue my career with the huge support of my Mum, Dad and Julie. xxx
