We were asked to do a display at my local agricultural Show in Kenilworth on June the 5th. It must have been one of the hottest days this summer! We transported Tiny by trailer - we were short of transport again and it was only 4 miles down the road, it did look really funny getting such a large horse out of a trailer. Bless her she was as good as gold.
We had Ronald Van Cronenberg from Holland with us and Sarah W, Sarah R, Lissy and Jon Blake. The organisers promptly told us we were required to do 45 minutes! after a little panic I said - well if anyone wants a go we should be able to fill the time.
It was on grass so we were a little restricted with the freestyle but managed to put up a couple of threes, the audience seemed really impressed. We then offered anyone a try and to our horror had 35 children in the morning and at least 50 at the afternoon display! We tried to keep everyone happy and must have succeeded as they booked us immediately for next year.
We saw lots of friends at the show, David came to support us and lots of others from the college were pleased to see Tiny, they all seemed very impressed with her improved canter work. Thanks squad you all did a good job.
