Gemini Affiliated Competition, Fen End.

On June 26th, the EVS held a competition at Fen End. Fen end is where we usually train and we were grateful to Nicki for letting us hold a competition there. It was good because the horses didn’t have to travel and we didn’t get so nervous because it was a familiar place.
We had vaulters from Cader, Overton, Windrush, Wittering and Trent Park. It was a really successful competition for EVS as we came first in all the classes we entered! Our newer vaulters did especially well. It was the first competition for 3 of them and they came first in the fun team. We decided to have a summer theme for our fun team and we wore bikinis (luckily they were over our catsuits as Sarah pulled my bikini shorts down!) thanks Windrush for lending us the catsuits. The individuals looked nice and they all got high scores as well.
The prize giving was in the barrel room, which was good because we got to sit down! We all liked the fluffy pens, which we got as prizes. Also the food stall was good, especially the chocolate cake! The only bad thing was the weather - it rained for the whole day.
