Go For Gold

Go Fast

Stable Name - Go Fast

Go Fast is a liver chestnut mare by Sportsman, she is 16 years old and stands at 18 hands high.

Julie has watched Go Fast’s training since 1999 when she first saw her ridden by Liz Fellows at Moreton Morrell. Liz promised Julie she could try her when she had finished her Dressage career, Liz has now purchased a young horse and also has a son of Go Fast so we were allowed to try her.

She seems to have taken to vaulting very well, she behaves beautifully and is very well schooled. Liz competed up to Advanced Medium on her and she works at PSG at home.

Go Fast carried the Watson twins in the World Championships at Aachen in 2006, in 2008 she competed with her individuals in Saumur and Krumke. She was selected along with Sarah Reid and Stephanie Hunter for the World Championships at Brno where they all exceeded expectations, we were very proud of all of them.

She is now carrying the Advanced Team and they are currently English Champions. Go Fast then went on to carry Paige Brown to junior Individual Champion at the British Championships in 2008 and also be selected best team horse at the same championships. She then became a television star on the BBC news program demonstrating unusual sports.
