Team GBR gains 5th place in the Nations Cup in Aachen

In a hotly contested Nations Cup, the British Team consisting of the English Vaulting Squad team, Joanne Eccles and Ross Foreman finished in 5th place. They were just a fraction behind the Swiss Team and attracted comments from the German media which were extremely complimentary.
The EVS team were Sarah Reid, Sara Shortland, Emma Runge, Steph Hunter, Lydia Barham, Paige Brown and Megan Bignell. They had only managed four training sessions with Megan since she was given the all clear after breaking her arm in April.
They did a super job and all bodes well in the run up to Kentucky. Go Fast also did a stirling job carrying the team in temperatures of nearly 40 degrees.

The Team are competing and performing at a number of events over the summer, culminating with the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky.

The Team are still madly fundraising for the epic trip to Kentucy in October, with Julie and Go Fast leaving on the 26th of September and the girls following on the 3rd of October.
